Belgium for Easter

I was very lucky to be able to spend the long Easter weekend in Bruges and Brussels. I made lots of new friends on my tour and enjoyed yummy waffles and chocolate and frites! Bruges was really pretty and the palace and gardens in Brussels were especially lovely too.
My great-grandmother was from Belgium, so I often thought of her and her experiences during WWI as we were travelling.

It was a lovely break from work!
