February's almost over and it's still raining. It's been the wettest winter in England on record! Luckily we haven't been too badly flooded here, but lots of parts of Surrey have been, with lots of roads closed.
In between all the rain, I've been able to do a few things, but have mostly been very busy with work.

| Some of the lovely ladies from work |
| Esther's birthday! |
| Reigate castle gate. There's nothing of the real castle left, just this gate that was build much later in only 1777. So not very old... |
| Spring is nearly here! Some snowdrops. |
| It was a nice day in Priory Park |
| Reigate Hill, on the North Downs |
| Mud left over from the frequent rain! That was fun to walk through! Not good for my boots though. |
A week ago I had a training day up in County Hall in Kingston, which was okay but a bit boring since I'd already learnt lots of it before. What wasn't boring was when I found these panels on the walls!
| Members of parliament for Surrey since 1290! |
| Look at the names and dates! |
Lastly, on Australia Day I went up to London to have lunch with Esther, which was great. It was a bit scary driving up into London and I made a few wrong turns, but I made it eventually! I didn't take any photos of our lunch, but the London council very nicely gave me a picture of my drive into London.
I'm the one in the blue car in the bus lane.
Oops.
Love to you all! xo
Beautiful photos Kimmy! Glad you had some sunshine. I love the photo of you in your car in London- hilarious! It was very nice of them to take a photo of you for a memento! haha. Love you. xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteYes Catie, funny indeed about you being in the bus lane. Driving in new places is hard! I hope you enjoy the anticipation of spring, Kimmy. Hopefully it will be especially flowery and colourful because of all of the rain. xo
