Back again! I've had quite a busy past two weeks, looking for cars and places to live! I also caught up with my friend from my old work in Brisbane, Laura, and her friend Liz, which was great! We had a nice time walking around Covent Garden and then went to one of Jamie Oliver's restaurants for dinner! Another day I also went to the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. The Natural History building is a fantastic Victorian building full of stone carvings of animals and is just amazing and worth going to just to see it.

After looking at lots of different cars, I finally bought one last Saturday, which was exciting! It's a 2010 Peugeot 107 and is a pretty good car that will hopefully be very reliable for work. It was a bit tricky and stressful trying to get car insurance as an International, but I worked that out too in the end (it wasn't cheap though!). I've been driving around Surrey and getting used to the car and the English roads with Maggie and Martin. They've been so much help with the car and looking for flats, as well as Mum and Dad on Skype!
Well here's the car!

| Ta da! It's not as zippy as my Swift back home, but it does the trick. |
Today there was a huge road cycling race through London and Surrey. I think it was 100 miles. The cyclists rode through Wimbledon and attracted lots of crowds cheering them on. I saw them while I caught up with Esther for lunch! I wanted to meet up with her in Wimbledon while I'm still staying here, as it looks like it might be my last weekend staying in the flat.

| Little did they know that they were about to have to go up the more difficult than expected Wimbledon Hill! |
The next thing on the list is finding somewhere to live! I've been visiting lots of possible flats and trying to chase people to ask about visiting more. It's been a bit stressful, but I'm hoping I will find somewhere soon. Work starts in two weeks now!
Anyway, love to you all. Kim xo
I was so excited to see a new post- I've been waiting a while! hehe. Looks like you've been having fun. The car looks great! The festival feel on the High St looks so English. hehe. I love the bunting (although clearly it isn't as good as mine! haha ;-) Good luck with the flat hunting- I'm sure something perfect will pop up in no time! xoxo
